Premier League Darts – Live Online

What happens when you take 8 of the best players ever to play one of the oldest sports on the planet and have them play week in/week out in a league format? What you have is Premier League Darts! Sponsored by Betway, Premier League Darts was started in 2005 to cash in on the ever increasing popularity of darts as a sport.
Certainly in Asia darts has become one of the success stories of the last 10 years and is now ranked up there as one of the most popular participation sports going. The Premier League is the perfect extension for Darts fans to the PDC world championships that happen December/January each year. For the professionals a spot in the Premier League is very much sought after as the rewards can be huge, the top prize matching that for becoming PDC World Champion! Since its inception in 2005 the darts Premier League has been dominated by Phil “The Power” Taylor. Not really surprising since Phil is widely regarded as the best player ever to grace the sport. When the league was first formed Phil went 44 matches without defeat, a record that is still to be beaten. However from the 2014 Premier League season is proving to be a little different, many years later the Premier league darts is about as open as it gets.
Although maybe not the huge success that Sky Sports first imagined, Premier League Darts does attract a large TV audience, this has resulted in Sky holding onto the rights in the face of stiff opposition. A number of other countries have also signed up for live coverage of Premier League darts. Not surprisingly there is also a huge demand for live internet coverage of the Darts and in this respect watching online couldn’t be easier.

How To Watch Premier League Darts Online?
If you’re in the UK it’s really annoying because the bookmakers used to offer free streams of the Premier League Darts, they did this for years and it was how we always recommended people to watch. However now your only option is to stump up for a Sky Sports subscription, bit of a bugger really.
If you’re in Germany then we’ve got some great news because the Premier League is still streamed for free on the Sport1 channel. Just follow this link on a Thursday night and you’ll see all the darts action freely available. If you’re outside the country on the Thursday then you’ll need a VPN in order to watch, as always we recommend PureVPN for any sports streaming, it’s rock solid (they also have a big sale on at the moment so take advantage whilst you can.)
For the rest of the world the PDC offer a subscription service at around a tenner a month.
