Despite a bogey at the last hole, he was pleased with his performance amidst challenging weather conditions. He narrowly missed equaling a tour record with eight birdies and two eagles. His career-best round left him eager for future success with his new caddy, while fellow Englishman Callum Tarren trailed in second place.
